Floor-mounted radiant air-conditioning system for the heating and cooling of rooms having the additional function of heat insulating building component.  
 
The system consists of insulating panels made of sintered expanded polystyrene foam, moulded with a closed-cell structure, with PS film produced according to the UNI 7819-88 standard. The circuits are constructed with PN 16 pipes guaranteed at 6 Bar made of crosslinked polyethylene with oxygen barrier, fixed to the panel with special fastening hooks. The said circuits are spirally shaped in order to guarantee the maximum thermal performance while maintaining a uniform surface temperature. The panel has the capacity to guarantee a high thermal uniformity of its surface. The insulating polystyrene surface covers the entire floor, thus avoiding the formation of thermal bridges on the structure itself. A peripheral expansion joint made of expanded polyethylene foam will be installed along the perimeter of the rooms so as to allow for maximum expansion of the screed itself. The concrete screed will be made using the specific additive NEST-THERM which, reducing the water intake, improves its workability, conductivity and mechanical strength.
